Who we are.

Starting work with Deloitte right out of uni, Jac has always loved numbers, spreadsheets and business in general. Combining this love with working alongside such inspiring creative clients makes every day interesting, challenging and enjoyable.

Jac aims to demystify tax, ensure clients are working under the right structures for them today with the flexibility to change for tomorrow, plan for how to keep, and make best use of the money they work so hard to earn, and in the end, provide the level of support and confidence needed to free clients up to do what they do best. Together, Jac and her clients make a great team!

When she’s not crunching numbers, you’ll find Jac pounding the pavement. There’s no better way to start the day than with a run as the sun rises over the Sydney city skyline!

Inspired by her mother’s advice, Kat embarked on a career in accounting immediately after high school, uncertain of her future path. Now, with over 15 years of experience and recently becoming an equal business partner at Cassell & Co, it is clear that her mother’s advice was correct. Kat has become an invaluable member of our team, bringing a wealth of expertise, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our clients. A perfectionist by nature, Kat is passionate about teaching and continuously seeks ways to enhance efficiency, firmly believing that there is always a better way to accomplish tasks. She finds great joy in witnessing the success and achievements of both her clients and her team. Outside of work, Kat adores her mini dachshunds, Frankie, Daisy and the newest addition Baxter, who have become beloved fixtures at Cassell & Co. She never misses an opportunity to share their photos, regardless of the conversation topic.

Ana is an experienced Business Services Accountant and qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of professional experience. She brings extensive knowledge, technical expertise, and strategic insight to individuals and businesses alike. Ana is committed to delivering high-quality financial guidance tailored to each client’s unique needs.

She is passionate about helping clients achieve their business goals and believes strong, long-standing relationships are the foundation of effective financial partnership. Her approach is built on trust, reliability, and genuine care for her clients’ success.

Outside of her professional life, Ana loves to travel, explore new cultures and meet new people. She is hoping to make it to Japan next!

Gen graduated from UTS with a Master of Professional Accounting and is CPA qualified. With many years of experience, Gen loves being engaged with the varied industry of creatives and tackling different challenges that come his way. It keeps things interesting and helps Gen grow as a professional.When not crunching numbers, Gen can usually be found hanging out with his two cats, Sushi and Snowy, or diving into certain video games.

With nearly 10 years of experience as a business services accountant, and a CPA, Henna believes in helping her clients reach their full potential by taking the stress out of managing their tax affairs. She strives to build enduring trusting relationships with her clients, by providing the highest levels of customer service.

Outside of work, Henna loves reading, watching movies and cooking (although with two young kids, finding time is always a challenge!)

Lys holds a Bachelor of Professional Accounting from Macquarie University and has built experience in tax and compliance through her work at Cassell & Co.

She enjoys working closely with individuals and small businesses, allowing them to focus on their own careers and pursuits while she takes care of the numbers, something she genuinely enjoys (her favourite game is Sudoku, after all).

Lys aims to make the tax process as straightforward and stress-free as possible, giving clients clarity and confidence in their financial position.

Outside of work, Lys enjoys going to the gym, reading, exploring her creative hobbies in arts and crafts, and has a real love for fashion.

Raby just graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Accounting. Phew!

Raby understands that taxes can be stressful, but he loves to make the process as simple and painless as possible. So hand over your number crunching and you can focus on what you do best.

Outside of work, Raby likes to have friends over for fun times and big laughs. He’s always up for a good time. All that fun has the side effect of long naps. Another favourite past time.

Lauren recently completed her Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, and brings a bright, approachable energy to the Cassell & Co team. Lauren has returned to Australia after a year travelling abroad, and she’s excited to be back doing what she loves: helping clients make sense of their numbers. She enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and her team.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll probably find Lauren upside down as a gymnast and aerial acrobat who loves the thrill of performing. Though at the end of the day, nothing beats hanging out with her dog, Rusty.

Ana never thought she’d end up in accounting, numbers used to intimidate her! But that’s exactly why she decided to take them on. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting.

She knows how stressful numbers can be, so she learned how to make things simple, and now loves helping others who feel the same way she once did.

Outside of work, Ana enjoys quiet days at home with a good book, or spending weekends supporting her boyfriend at his race events, and of course, they never skip their post-race food hunts to celebrate.

Christina has over 12 years of experience working in accounting administration. She is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and ensuring processes are efficient and effective, for clients and the team.

In her spare time, Christina enjoys good food and exploring new farmer’s markets. She also enjoys Pilates and getting as much sun as possible, that is until she’s locked into finishing a particularly explorative open world video game.

Meg is our Compliance Manager with over 20 years of experience, particularly within the Hospitality Industry. She moved from the world of food and beverage to the accounting world where she gained experience with a wide variety of clients. Meg believes there is no problem that can’t be solved and loves a clean up project. She’s empathetic and genuinely passionate about clients and their success. Outside of work, Meg loves hot Pilates and Yoga and laying on the beach watching the world go by.
